Meet the artist

Taylor Morcio

Founder & Creator of The Star Method™

With over a decade in the tattoo industry as both an artist and an educator, Taylor Morcio has spent years teaching the skills behind brows, lips, eyeliner, fine line, and intricate artwork. Along the way she realized something the industry rarely talks about: every one of those services comes back to the same foundation, five foundational hand movements.

The industry teaches services. Taylor teaches the movements underneath them. Before you specialize in any one service, she believes you should master movement, control, and muscle memory, the foundation that makes every service possible.

That belief became The Star Method: a way to build artists from the foundation up, so they have the freedom to create anything.

Art has no boundaries. Neither should your potential.

03

Gradient Line Work

Flowing lines. Pressure control from soft to bold.

Contour Line Work

Clean lines. Defines shape, structure, and flow.

Master the movement, master the art.

Different mediums. Same movements.

Five movements.
Limitless possibilities.

From pencil and paper to digital art and tattooing, the tools change, but the foundation never does. The Star Method is built on five foundational hand movements that transcend mediums. Master them once, and they travel with you everywhere: they build the muscle memory and control that unlock the freedom to create without boundaries.
